IPE was acknowledged with 3 high recommendations at the FINAT 2012 awards

Once again FINAT, the international federation of self-adhesive label manufacturers, has awarded an acknowledgement to IPE Innovaciones Para Etiquetajes at the annual contest organised by this association.

Out of this year's 325 contestants only some of the works reached the great final and were designated "High Recommendations" as a result of their innovation, printing excellence or technology applied.  IPE obtained 3 recommendations, the first for the Holographic Sleeve which creates a coloured sparkles effect when changing the label's viewing angle. This is an innovative work as it is very complicated and unusual to create a holographic effect on a sleeve label.

The second outstanding work was the Interactive Label which by means of a camera uses image-recognition technology to conduct promotional actions, games, etc. on the consumer's Smartphone.  It attracted the jury's attention because of the use of new technologies applied to the label.

Finally, the third work acknowledged was the IRA label, which outstands for its complicated burnt-paper effect.  It requires a special die-stamp which must coincide perfectly with the printing to make it look like the label was burnt by fire.       

IPE awarded at the 61st Graphic Arts Contest 2012

For yet another year, IPE Innovaciones Para Etiquetajes, S.L,  has receiveved the prize for the best printed label, at the 61st eddition of the Yearly Graphic Arts Contest, organised by the Association of Graphic Arts Industry of Catalonia.

The label awarded “Flor de Vetus” is a delicate lable for white wine which is has been printed combining different printing technologies: Offset, Screen printing and Stamping. Moreover, a tactile varnish was used to give a touch of distinction and subtlety to the label's appearance.  Lastly, to complete the printing of this complex work, a thermochronic ink was used which indicates with a change of colour, on a fine butterfly, the ideal temperature to consume the wine.  

 

This work is the best sample of what can be achieved when integrating techniques and materials as part of a label's design.

For IPE Innovaciones Para Etiquetajes S.L, to receive an award is the best recognition to the work of a team of professionals who with 50 years experience are still committed to excelling in the graphic arts field on the basis of an excellent level of innovation, quality and service.

These past years have been of great success and recognition for the company, as it was awarded the following prizes:

2011 – FINAT – Best Optical Pigmentation Self-promotion Label

2010 – Association of Graphic Industries of Catalunya – Best printed label with various techniques.  Cruz de Alba Label

2010 – FINAT Special acknowledgement. Portú Label.

2010 – FINAT Special acknowledgement. Frelon Label

All these awards contribute to making the company more committed to working to develop new and innovative applications for Labels which must serve as reference in the graphic arts sector on a national and international level.   

IPE – Awarded first prize at the FINAT Label Awards for its Optical Pigmentation label

IPE Innovaciones Para Etiquetajes, S.L won the first prize at the 31^st edition of the International federation of self-adhesive label manufacturers FINAT competition held during its recent annual congress in Italy.  More than 360 works from the worlds 50 best self-adhesive label manufacturers were presented at this edition. 

The award was granted for best self-promotion label which was manufactured by the company to promote optical pigments. This work outstands for its technical excellence and the use of optical pigmentation, with which to obtain bright and spectacular sparkles of light that boost colours and enhance the label’s details.   

For IPE Innovaciones Para Etiquetajes, S.L this has been a very successful year full of acknowledgements, not only for being the only Spanish company to receive the FINAT award this year, but also for the prizes it received last year, such as that granted by the Association of Graphic Industries of Catalunya and the two honourable mentions in the same FINAT competition in 2010.
